There are several resources available for members to obtain grant funding for interoperable communications.  ALMR maintains a listing of some of the most commonly utilized funding sources on the Grants Information section of our website.  There may be additional funding opportunities located at the federal grant clearinghouse, grants.gov, through the State of Alaska as pass-through funding sources, and through other government agencies and private foundations.

The ALMR grant guide provides information on applying for grants and the general process.  In addition, the document includes sample language that can be utilized.

NOTE:  Volunteer and local organizations must go through the State of Alaska DMVA/DHSEM for all grant funding.
